This year’s concert line up is sure to rock the stage. Fun for all ages and genres, all of the concerts are included in the price of fair admission. The line up is Tower of Power, Jana Kramer, Loverboy, John Michael Montgomery, and Fiesta Latina.
All the Carnival rides you can handle are included in the price of admission to the Fair. Over and around or upside down, a Midway of Fun amusement ride can give you a new point of view!
Hounds are the stars of this popular competition on Friday evening, June 24. This world-renowned event always delivers big entertainment at the Fair. The internationally observed event celebrates homely hounds and the humans who love them.
MAKE & TAKE
Keep those little minds and hands busy with a FREE hands on craft in the Kids Park. The Make and Take area is sponsored by the McDowell Drug Task Force and is staffed by volunteers from the Santa Rosa Rainbow Girls.
Take a stroll through our various exhibit buildings to see the handmade wares of our local community members. Exhibits include wheel barrel gardens, photography, baking, welding, adult and youth exhibits and so much more! Want to participate?
Come see all of the farm animals at the Sonoma-Marin Fair. The Junior Livestock Shows are open to the public and help to promote and showcase agriculture, while displaying the diverse talents, interests and accomplishments of the youth of Sonoma and Marin counties.
SPRINT CAR RACES
Get ready for some high-powered fun on Sunday, June 25 when the Pit Stop USA Sprint Car Series & 600’s hit the track. Great for the whole family, watch these cars slide sideways through the corners and maybe even do a wheelie. Tickets are $10 plus fair admission.
Kids squeal with delight as these little pigs race all the way home at the All American Pig Races! Come down and cheer on your favorite pig and enjoy the sweet support of the crowd as the pigs race for the finish line.
Fair visitors will discover a fully functioning Chef Demonstration Kitchen, outfitted with plenty of seating, in the outdoor Culinary Pavilion. Chefs are on site to share recipes and cooking secrets in the kitchen and on the air.
Eat a funnel cake with no hands, keep those little minds busy with a FREE hands on craft in Kids Park, and protect your egg from a 30 foot free fall. The Sonoma-Marin Fair has Great Eggspectations when it comes to this year’s contests.
Spend a day on the farm at the Sonoma-Marin Fair. Open to the public, Farmers’ Day is a celebration and demonstration of all of the amazing activities that happen on a farm. Enjoy the thrill of team penning, mutton bustin’, the pig scramble, and more. Join the fun by participating or settle in to watch.
Milk a Cow, Saddle a Horse, or take a turn on a Pedal Tractor in AG-Venture Land to make agriculture fun!
Eggsceptional Wildlife – Explore the wildlife exhibit in the Beverly C Wilson Hall – not only will you see all kinds of wild animals, you’ll see those special eggceptional wildlife creatures that hatch from eggs! Snakes, lizards and more! With two shows daily – you will be a wildlife expert after your visit!
Incubation Stations – Presented by American Ag Credit, the incubation station is in the Community Building and will feature several egg incubators with chicks hatching throughout the Fair! This program is being provided by UCCE Marin County and will also feature egg-education seminars daily in the Community building.
