Directions from 101

Heading South: from Highway 101 South, take E Washington Street Exit and make a right at the stoplight. Stay in the left lane and take your first left on Payran Street. Enter the main parking lot from Payran Street.

Heading North: from Highway 101 North, take E Washington Street Exit and make a left at the stoplight. Stay in the left lane and take your first left on Payran Street. Enter the main parking lot from Payran Street.

Petaluma Transit

Route 11 and Route 24 stop right in front of the fair.  Connections to these routes are available from both the east and west side of Petaluma!

Parking fee:

There are two parking areas for the Sonoma-Marin Fair, parking is $10.

Prohibited Items:  No chairs, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, squirt guns, balloons, outside food or beverage (exception one Unopened plastic water bottle per person, baby food and special dietetic needs foods), weapons including pocket knives or other objects, which may be a threat to the safety and security of other fairgoers, are not to be brought on to the fairgrounds.

Pets: No Pets allowed on the fairgrounds with the exception of Service Dogs and dogs participating in various shows such as the World’s Ugliest Dog® Contest on Friday only.

At the Stages:  No Cameras, video equipment or tape recorders are allowed in the Petaluma Stage or the Kiwanis Park Stage areas.  No chairs can be brought on to the fairgrounds for these areas.  Out of courtesy to others we ask you to refrain from smoking in these areas, there is designated smoking areas set-up on the fairgrounds for your convenience.

Lost Children: The designated family meeting area is the Chicken Statue just inside the Main Entrance. Please arrange to meet your children here if you get separated.  While the Fair does not announce for lost children, we use Code Adam to help.

Carnival Ride Limits: Access to some carnival rides may be denied for visitors not meeting height requirements or those with physical disability such as casts.

Please be advised that photographs and video may be taken at the Sonoma-Marin Fair for use by the Fair and its licensees on their websites, press and marketing materials, and in other publications and productions. By entering the event, you consent to the Fair and its licensees to photographing, videoing, and/or using your image and likeness.

Gates close to entry at 10 p.m. The carnival operates until close of fair each day. The Main Gate opens at 8 a.m. each day of the fair for admission to livestock judging and other special activities.

Take Highway 101 to the Washington Street Exit. Proceed west on Washington to the Fair. The Fair is just two blocks west of Highway 101

Entry into the Fair Parking Lot is off Washington Street. Parking during the fair is limited and carpooling is encouraged.
