Special Days and Deals
There's a special day for everyone at the Sonoma-Marin Fair this June! And each day of the fair is brimming with excellent entertainment. Here’s what extra entertainment is offered each day of fair:
Kids’ Day: Wednesday, June 22
Sponsored by the Monterey Bay Aquarium
Opening Day of the Sonoma-Marin Fair is Kids’ Day and that means even more attractions specifically designed for kids and teens. The cost to get into the fair on Wednesday, June 22 is $10 for everyone before 5 pm which allows teens and families to come early for the events and stay late for the carnival.
Younger children will enjoy watching Twin Chefs Lilly and Audrey Andrews, two 9-year-old girls who have recently appeared on Good Morning America. They will do a cooking demonstration at the Chef Demonstration Kitchen starting at 3:30 pm.
Radio Disney Road Show will present a music show on the concourse from 2 to 4 pm for the 12 and under set. They are also bringing the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s big interactive screen which allows 20 users to control an underwater scuba avatar as the avatar swims with sardines, avoids jelly fish and more.
In the Community Building from 2-5 pm, kids are invited to make their own custom model planes and cars. This Make & Go Workshop is sponsored by Hobby Town USA and allows kids to take their creation home. They can also win a ribbon for their work from the fair.
With seniors' social club sponsored by Hired Hands Homecare
The price is right with $2 admission for seniors and preferred senior parking on Thursday. For air-conditioned fun all afternoon, seniors are invited to the Seniors’ Social Club, Sponsored by Hired Hands Home Care. The Club opens at 1 pm with opening ceremonies followed by a dancing demonstration, bingo, cake walks, Make & Go Nifty Collage Cards table, and live music. Meet your friends and local VIPs from the Petaluma City Council. Also over in the Main Exhibit Hall, Seniors can join the Seniors Wii Bowling Tournament for prizes and fun.
AG Day: Friday, June 24, Sponsored by Exchange Bank
It’s a great day to enjoy the many agricultural features of the Sonoma-Marin Fair.
