About Stacey Meinzen
Stacey Meinzen discovered a green thumb while on a sustainability tour
through Sonoma County nonprofit Daily Acts. After realizing the problems
with the industrial agricultural complex and discovering all the benefits
and joys of growing her own organic food, she began to do so with the help
of many workshops, books and friends. She now maintains a website,
www.EdibleYardworks.com, devoted to the issues of why and how to grow your
own food sustainably. She also teaches introductory classes about edible
gardening - often at Petaluma Bounty's Farm, where she maintains a
demonstration garden.
